You might not be aware that once you reach 40 years of age your body starts aging faster. It doesn’t mean if you are a man or a woman. Studies show that without the right nutrients and exercise your body will age an additional six months for every year that goes by. That means if you are 50 by the time you are 54 you’ll feel and look 56 and by the time you are 60 you are going to look and feel 70. If you are not quite sure you believe this, just think about the people you’ve seen just this week. I’m betting many of them look older than they are.
Are you aware that 90 percent of people who are 35 years of age or older lose enough muscle each year so that they could burn of an extra 4 pounds of fat. That means you are losing your lean muscle that gives your body its tone and shape and gaining fat that causes you to lose your shape and look untoned.
Thankfully, no matter what age you are these signs can be reversed. There are certain ways to accomplish this and to order your brain to stop the rapid aging and even slow it down so much that every year you are aging less than a year. That means at 40 you look 35 and at 50 you look 40. No this is not fantasy and it’s not make believe. If you follow these 6 steps you’ll enjoy the benefits of a younger, healthier, more fit body.
Step #1 – Stop Participating in Low Fat Diets
For the past few years the buzz has been around low fat everything in fact, low fat diets are the rave. But what has this really done for our body? Why are we sicker, fatter, and addicted to carbs and sugar more than any other time in history?
Do not be scared of fats. Instead embrace them. They don’t make you fat. What they do is help your body to regenerate the power hormones like testosterone, which is the strength hormone. Do you really think counting every gram of fat is going to make you younger? Well it’s not!
Step #2 Stop Running!
Now don’t get me wrong. Of course, we need to exercise and cardio is good for us but it can be achieved in a lot less time and with a lot less effort. Treadmills, running or other forms of endurance training does nothing to reverse the aging process. In fact, often it can have the opposite affect accelerating aging because long periods of exercises increase free radicals and these free radicals attack your body looking for nutrients.
There’s a smart way to exercise… we’ll cover that in a minute. And, what’s wonderful is that it takes you about ¼ the time of traditional workouts. We’ll cover more details on the next page. So while cardio is good, think about walking instead. It will achieve the same benefits but it won’t damage the body. You should also think about changing the type of exercise you do. More about that later.
Step #3 Stop Beating Yourself Up Over Your Age
Age doesn’t have to make you fat. Just because your 50 doesn’t mean you have to be the fat one in the room, and stop using the excuse that you’re old! Instead, stop eating, moving and thinking like a person that’s dying – yes that’s right – subconsciously you are already writing your exit ticket so you aren’t paying attention to what’s good for you or not good for you. It doesn’t matter if you are a woman that’s been living with a belly since being pregnant or a middle age man that developed the traditional ‘beer belly.’ You can slim yourself, get toned and look sexy. With that you’ll look younger.
Your body can’t tell time. It doesn’t know your age. You determine how old your body’s going to act. Even the one thing that does play a role in aging – human growth hormone – can easily be dealt with, but more about that in Step 6. Challenge yourself to stay young – staying young means you act young, you look young, you be young.
Step #4 Make Sure You Aren’t Dehydrated
Chronic dehydration means trouble. Water isn’t just good for you – water will burn fat and it will supress hunger. Water also renews your skin taking years off it. Just 12 ounces of water every day will take years off your face in just a few weeks. It will also help you drop fat, improve your energy and help your liver and kidneys to not have to be overworked.
When you aren’t drinking enough water, your kidneys become taxed and then the liver has to take over. Your liver is your main fat burning organ, but if it’s busy processing toxins and liquids it can’t be burning fat. Do this little test. Starting right now grab for the water and do it often. Drink a minimum of 12 ounces a day. Every day have a look at your face in the mirror and we guarantee before long you will be noticing the changes.
Step #5 Reduce the Amount of Workouts
If you are one of those people that doesn’t work out at all, then you can expect that you will lose muscle every year. That translates into a body that’s flabbier and fatter every year with more sag and less shape. That’s not really what you want is it? But we already know that too much cardio isn’t good either, so what’s the secret? The secret is simple – old school resistance training. Yet hardly anyone is doing it. Those people that look their best and look the youngest are those who do resistance exercises.
Step #6 Take an HGH Supplement
HGH or human growth hormone is produced in your pituitary glands. As we age the pituitary gland produces less and less and as a result we see signs of aging – wrinkles appear, we have less energy, we gain weight, we lose muscle, our libido decreases, and the list goes on. But taking an HGH supplement, that is made of natural ingredients and amino acids can help the pituitary gland increase the amount of HGH it produces and releases. In no time at all you can look 10 years younger.
That’s it – you now know the 6 steps to looking 10 years younger. What are you waiting for?
