Serovital or GenF20 Plus – Which is Best?

Go online and start looking for HGH supplements. You’ll find yourself bombarded with all kinds of HGH supplements – the sheer volume can be overwhelming. No two of these products are the same. The ingredients used and the quality of those ingredients varies significantly between products. As a consumer, who is planning to purchase and take an HGH supplement it is very important that you know what you are getting, so that you are not wasting your money on inferior products or worse, products that don’t work at all. There are number of decent HGH supplements on the market, but still research has shown that some stand out among all of them for their superior quality, ingredients, and price point.

Today, we are going to compare Serovital to GenF20 Plus. Too often these two HGH supplements are confused, likely as a result of similar marketing campaigns. However, once you take the time to break it down and have a look at what’s in each of these products one discovers there is nothing similar about them. They contain very different ingredients and ironically, the one that costs the most has fewer necessary ingredients. In order for an HGH supplement to be able to help your pituitary gland to produce human growth hormone, it must contain the right ingredients and the right quantities of those ingredients.

Okay, let’s compare –GenF20 Plus vs. Serovital

GenF20 Plus Ingredients

GenF20 Plus clearly lists the amount of each of the ingredient in its GenF20 Plus formula. This is necessary, because it speaks directly to how the product will work. If you do not have adequate quantities of an ingredient in the formula, it will not actually have any effect on your pituitary thus your HGH levels will not be increased. For example, L-Arginine is one ingredient that is the most important in all HGH supplements. genf20plus

For example, a product that contains 10 mg L-Arginine compared to the 130 mg in GenF20 Plus. That’s a huge difference as the first product would have no benefit because of the insufficient amount of Arginine.

You will see below that GenF20 Plus breakdown shows the amount of the ingredient. You will not see this on the Serovital breakdown because we were unable to find the amount of active ingredient anywhere. In fact, we had great difficulty finding the list of ingredients. We can only wonder why this would not be made obvious to potential customers and existing customers.

Colostrum – 50mg – It boost your immune system, increases your lean muscle mass and bone mass, speeds up healing, and slows down the aging process. It contains IGF-1, which is used to measure HGH production. The thought among experts is that IGF-1 is responsible for the HGH anti aging benefits. Late in pregnancy and right after giving birth, colostrum is produced in the mammary glands. Bovine Colostrum is used in GenF20 Plus, which is almost exactly the same as human colostrum, but it has more beneficial properties.

Amino Acid L-Arginine – 130mg – L-arginine has been through clinical studies, and what they have found is that L-Arginine increases HGH levels by as much as 3x, even in those individuals who are older. It can is able to assist with performance during short duration exercises, as well as high-intensity workouts. L-Arginine boosts the immune system, increases fat burning and helps to build muscle. It also promotes healing, improves male fertility, and does much more. Our bodies do not produce Arginine, so you need to get it through your diet, which is not easy, or a good supplement like GenF20 Plus™ which has 130 mg of L-Arginine, enough to be beneficial. Formulas that list L-Arginine, but then have low amounts like 50 mg are of no value to your body.

L-Glutamine  115mg – During times of stress our bodies rely on L-glutamine, which is an amino acid that is needed to maintain your muscles, divide and grow new cells, and is needed for your metabolism to function properly. L-Glutamine will increase your alertness and. Studies have confirmed that L-Glutamine reduces heart disease, lowers cholesterol reduces arthritis, strengthens the immune system, reduces diabetes, , lowers blood pressure and more.

L-Glycine – 100mgL-Glycine is a key stimulatory agent for the pituitary gland  that increases how much HGH is released. It is excellent for prostate and mental health.

L-Lysine – 100mg –When you take Lysine  and Arginine  together, you will increase their effectiveness by up to 10x compared to just taking Arginine on its own, so you can see why you would want this amino acid in your supplement. L-Lysine also improves sexual function and the immune system.

L-Tyrosine – 100mg – Thyroxine is produced by your thyroid gland. This is a very important hormone that the body must have. You likely know someone who has had thyroid issues and had to take a thyroid pill. Can you recall how it affected their mood and their metabolism? Clinical studies have demonstrated that L-Tyrosine will help to regulate your metabolism and improve sluggish metabolisms, it will help with depression and fatigue, and regulate growth.

Astragalus Root Extract  60mg – Astragalus root extract will boost your immune system, help balance your digestion, regulate your metabolism help to heal wounds and injuries, improve the function of the lungs and reduce fatigue. There are more benefits, but that’s a good start.

Deer Antler Velvet – 50mg –Deer Antler is a natural source of collagen, glucosamine and chondroitin. It contains the Insulin-like growth factor I (IGF-1), which is the hormone your liver provides in response to GH stimulation.

GABA (Gamma-Aminobutryic Acid)- 50mg – GABA was discovered in Berlin in 1883. It is a neurotransmitter and considered to be very powerful. It assists the nerve impulses to cross the synapses and communicate effectively. It positively affects your nervous system and it will stimulate the production of HGH.

Pituitary (Anterior) Powder – 30mg – Pituitary Powder will stimulate your pituitary gland to increase HGH release and to be more efficient. It is also linked to improving conditions that are associated with aging.

L-Valine  40mg – L-Valine is a branched-chain amino acid that is found in high concentrated amounts in the muscle. The body is unable to produce L-Valine so you need to get it in your food or in supplements. You need proper amounts of L-Valine in your body for tissue repair, muscle metabolism, and to maintain the body’s nitrogen balance. Because it is a branched-chain amino acid, your muscles can use it as an energy source.

L-Ornithine – 25mg – Research shows Ornithine to be 2x as effective as arginine, and since we already know that Arginine can triple your HGH levels, it’s obvious why you want to make sure that L-Ornithine is in your supplement. When combined with arginine, lysine and glutamine, you will maximize your HGH production! GenF20 Plus has all three of these and in the right quantities to be beneficial.

GTF Chromium – 0.1 mg – Your body has to move glucose from the blood into the cells. GTF Chromium can help to ensure your glucose levels are maintained because it helps to improve insulin activity. Lower glucose levels in the blood mean an increase in the amount of HGH that is released. Chromium aids with weight control, improved energy, decreased body fat and a good metabolism overall.

Phosphatidyl Choline – 25mg – Phosphatidyl Choline is extracted from lecithin in its purest form and it is an excellent emulsifier, that helps the body to absorb all of the nutrients that GenF20 Plus™ provides. It can help prevent gallstones, heart disease, atherosclerosis, neurological disorders, liver problems and depression.

Serovital Ingredients

Finding a list of the Serovital was difficult. With Gen F20 Plus the ingredients are clearly listed on their website; however, Sierra Research Lab, the manufacturer of Serovital does not list their ingredients on their website. We found a list of Serovital ingredients on the ultra.com website. We quickly noticed that the list is significant smaller than the number of ingredients found in GenF20 Plus.

Serovital

Serovital

We have no way to confirm this information since the manufacturer does not provide it and we are unsure of how ultra.com attained the ingredients but according to their website Serovital HGH formula contains.

  • Schizonepta Powder – Schizonepta Powder is a herbal extract that is used in the treatment of inflammation. However, we can find no scientific information or documentation that confirms it plays a role in improving HGH release.
  • Amino Acid L-Glutamine – Within just 90 minutes of taking L-glutamine HGH levels in the body will increase. Serovital claims L-Glutamine stops the breakdown muscle and that it maintains excellent body composition.
  • Amino Acid L-Lysine – L-Lysine is an amino acid that triggers the release of HGH from the pituitary gland. Lysine is not produced by your body, so you must get it through your diet or a supplement. However, because the amount of L-Lysine is not listed we cannot confirm the dose is enough to be beneficial to the body.
  • Amino Acid L-Arginine – L-Arginine helps to increase your HGH levels, and it will also widen your blood vessels which aids in the circulation of HGH. L-Arginine and lysine together work exceptionally well. A study back in 1997 found that participants taking both arginine and lysine had a significant increase in HGH.
  • Modified Cysteine Molecule N-Acetyl L-Cysteine– This is a powerful antioxidant that is good for your overall health and for your immune system, but there is no data or scientific information that it will affect the HGH levels. However, when NAC is metabolized, it does produce glutathione, which then increases IGF-1 and DHEA, and both of these are known to help increase HGH levels.
  • Amino Acid Oxo-Proline – It is also known as pyroglutamic acid. It is well known for its antioxidant properties, but it does not directly affect HGH levels, so we cannot determine the value of having this amino acid in an HGH supplement.

Serovital contains some good amino acids, but it’s important to mention that the ones found in this product are relatively easy to find in the foods you eat. We are also concerned because Serovital does not list the quantity of the ingredient in the supplement so it is impossible to identify whether it is adequate to be beneficial in the production of HGH. The list of active ingredients appears somewhat short for the price tag associated with this product. However, after a great deal of research, we were unable to determine if this is a complete list.

Clinical Studies: GenF20 Plus vs. Serovital

GenF20 Plus and Serovital both claim a number of things that their HGH supplement can do for you. We found studies to back up the claims that Gen F20 Plus made; however, after looking long and hard we simply could not find any clinical studies for Serovital. Sierra Research claims they have a clinical study to back their claims, but all we could find is a peer review that was printed in a scientific journal, so we cannot confirm or deny the claims they make about their product.

The GenF20 Plus Study

The researcher created the placebo group and a control group. The control group had 31 participants who were given 2 GenF20 Plus capsules + 2 ml of Alpha GPC oral spray 2x a day. A natural increase in the release of HGH into the blood stream will stimulate the liver to produce IGF-1. This study showed GenF20 Plus HGH releaser improved HGH production.

In 12 weeks, IGF-1 levels went up and scientist felt that the improvement would continue to go up over time. They concluded the longer you used GenF20 Plus the more positive results one would see.

The GenF20 double blind clinical study showed that it can increase the users energy, libido, memory and the quality of one’s sleep. The study likewise showed that Genf20 Plus had a positive effect on overall weight.

The study showed that GenF20 Plus is a good HGH releaser that is effective at increasing IGF-1 levels. While this study did confirm the results the manufacturer predicted, it is clear that there is a need for longer clinical studies to understand it’s full effect on the body. The full study is available online to read.

Conclusion

Consumers need to be very careful when they are purchasing HGH supplements to ensure they are not wasting their money on a product that will do nothing for them. In the case of the comparison between GenF20 Plus and Serovital, it is easy to make a decision. You should make this effort on all HGH products you are thinking about using. It is apparent you did not do your research thoroughly as Sero-Vital has 13 years of scientific studies behind it at Pennington BioMedical Research Center at Louisiana State University. https://www.medschool.lsuhsc.edu/endocrinology/about.aspx Because of these studies, this product has 14 granted patents! This means that if you look up the patent numbers which are listed on the box of SeroVital and Thrive-hGH, (same products) through Basic Reasearch in Salt Lake City, you will see the list and amounts of each ingredient.
