Is that flabby belly getting you down? Are you tired of fighting to lose your belly fat without success? Do you do ab exercises – crunches, sit-ups, etc. and still don’t see the benefits? If you are ready to get those flat abs you’ve been dreaming of, we have got some great news. These 5 tips will have you on the way to successful belly fat loss – in no time at all you’ll be ready to show off at the beach or poolside.

Tip #1 Increase the Amount of Fiber in Your Diet

Belly FatDid you know that not eating enough fiber can actually cause you to get flabbier and fatter? If you want to ditch the belly fat you should be taking in at least 25 grams of fiber a day (According to David J.A. Jenkins, M.D., Ph.D., D.Sc., National Academy of Sciences (NAS) Food and Nutrition Board). Fiber is like a dry sponge – when it is combined with water it makes everything move quickly through your digestive tract.

Tip #2 Make Sure That You Are Drinking Enough Water

Many people think that if they drink too much water it will lead to fluid retention and puffy abs. Actually, the complete opposite is true. The more water we drink the more sodium is flushed out of the body, and it is the sodium that causes fluid retention, according to nutritional researcher Jeff Hampl, Ph.D., R.D from Arizona State University.

How can you tell if you are drinking enough water? It’s easy – just have a look at the color of your urine – pale yellow indicates adequate fluid and the quantity of your urine – high volume also indicates you are drinking enough. If your urine is dark or small quantities these are sure signs you are not drinking enough water. If you are thirsty it means you are dehydrated.

Drink at least eight – 8-ounce glasses of water daily. Did you know that fresh fruits and vegetables are rich in water and you can actually get half of your daily requirement through your foods? You should avoid carbonated drinks as they trap gas in the stomach and this causes the stomach to empty slower. You should also watch your intake of caffeine and alcohol as both are natural diuretics that can cause you to become dehydrated.

Tip #3 Reduce Your Stress

Research confirms that stress triggers the production of the hormone cortisol, which does two things – it increases your appetite, and it deposits fat around the abdominal area. This is referred to as toxic weight because it increases your risk of diabetes, cancer, and heart disease. It is important that you learn how to eliminate or at least reduce your stress. One simple method that is very effective is  learning how to use deep breathing properly.

Tip #4 Exercise Regularly

This probably doesn’t come as a big surprise. Exercise plays an important role in weight loss in general. However, when it comes to belly fat, many people land up doing the wrong types of exercise and then become frustrated because they do not see the results they expects.

Have you turned to sit ups or crunches and yet aren’t seeing any change? Instead do cardiac exercises. Cardio exercises burn fat and you only need to do 15 minutes a day, although 30 minutes is preferred. It can be as simple as a brisk walk. Other good choices include aerobic exercises, swimming, jogging, etc.

The right kind of exercise and you will begin to see the belly fat dissolve away.

Tips # 5 Take an HGH Supplement (Human Growth Hormone)

Taking an HGH supplement will help your body to produce the levels of human growth hormone your body needs, because as we age our body’s production decreases, and this plays a role in making it easier to gain weight and more difficult to shed the pounds, especially those belly pounds.

Reputable HGH supplements like GenF20 Plus can help your body to increase its natural production of HGH, returning it to the levels you would have produced when you were younger, which by the way, is why many of us could eat just about anything and never gain a pound in our 20s. The only way is to get your body fat down to a minimum percentage. Stop eating carbs, cut them right out! Cut rice, potatoes, bread, pasta because human body fat is generated from carbs. This is basically the Atkins diet. Very unhealthy but hey you only live once. Eat lean meat and vegetables and nothing else. Make sure you do a lot of cardio vascular training burn the calories off and get your body fat way way down. Cycling is best for this, you can push yourself to your limit, rest and keep going. You want to do about 2 hours cardio every day minimum. This will also suppress your appetite. Overall make sure you do sit ups and/or crunches. This will get painful after a few days so the best thing to do then is leg swings swing your leg behind you and then up in front of you. Pulling your leg up will tense your stomach muscles and build your thighs. The best exercise you can do for your abs/obliques is arm swings stand upright, cross your forearms in front of you then swing them up behind your head (lean back slightly as you hit the peak) and back down to the cross. Do this in front of the mirror and you will see your abs/obliques tense up on every swing. Do arm swings until you can’t do any more, at least 200.
