    I have heard that men can get osteoporosis too. Is this true or not? I would assume so as the body’s bone structure is the same for both men and women.

    I am a 58 year old woman with severe osteoprosis and abnormal bone marrow . My doctor feels growth hormone would be a good option, however it requires a specialist approval to start treatment. My hematologist said as long as my red blood cell count stays above 100, I would not qualify for the treatment. Since than, I have suffered 5 compression fractures from a simple wave bump while out in a small boat. Can I take part in a study or somehow gain special approval to get started on this treatment?
